OSV was an established publishing institution with a grant program that was only making 23% of the impact that was needed. My team helped the client reimagine their grants process so that it would

  • Encourage transformative growth throughout the process, offering value to applicants as they went through the program and gave us their time

  • Attract diverse applicants and build relationships with a new generation of innovative thinkers

  • Foster a culture of innovation within OSV — no small task considering the creative inertia and skepticism of this 200-year-old institution.

Design concept: Carry the Torch

OSV's innovative new brand revolves around the torch symbol. The logo portrays a fiery heart, reminiscent of the Olympic torch ceremony. Through the use of double exposure and gritty black-and-white imagery, it conveys the courageous essence of innovation, emphasizing the heroic nature of the challenge.
